Products for feed

The quantities of feed and food needed to feed a carp spot can quickly be high. In order to compensate for this here are some shops to get cheaper ingredients.

*This list does not necessarily contain the names of the shops but more the type of shop where you will find what you need.*

Food wholesalers

To get a good supply of oatmeal and creamed corn in large quantities without necessarily ruining yourself, go to food wholesalers and restaurants. They sometimes have access to products in good quantities for a reasonable price.

Some examples :

Flour mills

The Mills often offer round or crushed corn, birdseed and feed in large quantities at prices that defy all competition. This is a real asset when you know the quantities of food that can be sent into the water for carp.

Your best friends : Google and google maps.

Agricultural toolmakers

In agricultural sectors that do not have mills, go to agricultural toolmakers, JNBs and other BMRs that often concentrate grain ordering services.

For fishermen who are not familiar with the carp fishing sectors, a first indication exists with this site made by the Fédération des chasseurs et pêcheurs du Québec.

This map does not concentrate the majority of the spots but it is a beginning. We look to make a more complete map.

Carp campsites

37,74$/24h

Carp fishing campground located in Long Sault, Ontario, on MacDonell Island in one of the parks of the St. Lawrence Parks System. There are two sites located along the main river bed. This is a technical area with an abrasive bottom and a lot of current. But very good during the hot summer months because the water is oxygenated.
